“An important skill as a designer is to be a good listener and pay attention to what your clients really want not necessarily want you want to give them.
I always get asked ‘what’s my style’. I tell my clients that my style is your style and their home needs to reflect where they’ve been, who they are, and what they like.
In a nutshell, I ask a lot of upfront questions that seem kind of redundant, but the end product needs to feel comfortable, functional, and enjoyable.”

"After expressing my thoughts to a neighbor on how frustrating of a process it was to begin a master bathroom remodel the neighbor then referred me to Laura. At first, I never considered working with a designer—it always seemed like a luxury I couldn't afford. But, after meeting Laura and discussing the project, I felt at ease because she listened to my needs/wants and asked me design questions/offered input I hadn’t thought of. As a result, I hired Laura and she came up with the overall design plan (which was totally my style) and managed almost all aspects of the project. The end result is a beautiful and more functional bathroom! The part that I liked most about working with Laura and her team of contractors is that if there was a problem, they always offered a plan B and plan C, if needed.
